When you choose a babysitter for your child, the budget issue is inevitable. Lots of families want to learn more about our different prices, and which option is best for them. Remember that shared babysitting is a great solution if you know other families looking for a nanny. Find more information in this article.

What is the price for babysitting in language immersion?

Whether for afterschool pick-up, childcare on Wednesdays or during school holidays, note that the hourly rates of our nannies and babysitters vary according to the number of hours, the location of the childcare and the number of children kept.

IMPORTANT: To calculate the average monthly cost for a family, we use an average of 3.5 weeks per month (not 4). This monthly average takes into account school holidays throughout the year.

For more information, do not hesitate to visit our pricing page, or contact us.

Examples of monthly costs for afterschool pick-up

Our services allow you to benefit from CAF help,  without income ceiling. Below you will find several simulations of monthly cost, considering the tax deduction and CAF help :

Example of the Dumas family with income over 45 575 € and with a child(Alexandre) who has between 3 and 6 years old ; they call on Mômji-Bilingual® services every Wednesday for 5 hours.

Monthly cost for 5 hours of weekly baby-sitting : 142.50 € TTC par semaine.

28.50 € per hour

x 17.5h per month average
= 498.75€

- 310.39 € CAF's aids (If you are in compliance with the requirements)
= 188.36 €

-50% tax credit
= 94.18€ monthly after tax exemption and CAF's aids

Example of the Dupont family with income from 20 509 € to 45 575 € with their child Chloé who has 8 y.o ; they call on Mômji-Blingual® services twice a week, a total of 4 hours per week.

What financial aids can families benefit from?

The main aid is the PAJE allowance (Young Child Reception Benefit), paid by the CAF (Caisse d'Allocations Familiales). To be eligible, you must:

• Have a child under 6,
• Use a minimum of 16 hours of services per month,
• Have a minimum professional activity (€ 748.24 by an employed couple or € 374.12 if the parent is alone)
• Be up to date with old-age insurance contributions for the self-employed
• Not use another approved company.

Mômji is a service provider and a representative company that has been recognized and approved by the State. Therefore, you will benefit from a 50% tax reduction or credit on the income of the paid amounts. This help is granted to every household within a limit comprised between 12 000 and 15 000 euros per year, depending on your family situation (art. 199 sexdecies du Code Général des Impôts).

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 15% of the expense remains the responsibility of the family.
And note that the minimum aid paid by CAF (as part of the PAJE allowance) is equal to € 310.39.

Parents can also approach their business company to benefit from payment in CESU (Chèque Emploi Service Universel). One of the main goals of the CESU check is to pay for home delivery services, such as childcare.

For more interesting prices : choose shared babysitting

If you choose shared babysitting, a bilingual babysitter takes care of the children of two families at home. He/she will look after a maximum of four children. He / she will adapt games and activities according to the number of children, so that everyone can participate.

Note that shared shared babysitting is almost half of the regular price.

However, many families are reluctant to choose this option because they don’t know any other parents looking for childcare too. Unfortunately, Mômji does not put families in touch at the moment. But solutions exist:

- Get closer to school, your business, or your children's activity clubs,
- Go to parent forums, such as aufeminin.com, bebe-nounou.com or maminou-lemag.com.

Talk to those around you, to your children’s friends’ parents who are also looking for a similar childcare solution. Once the other family is found, contact us. Mômji will do the rest.

As the employer, we take care of all the administrative part for each family.
