Are you on your own? A couple? A bunch of friends? A family? Are you travelling on business? Trust me to organize your stay in Paris:
What I offer : tailor-made stays for 8 people maximum; an immersion in Paris life.
- if you wish, choose lodging in my area (the heart of Paris, Bastille near the Marais) through your usual booking service; preferably a B&B for the total immersion; ask me if you need help according to your budget. I can host two people.
- you let me take care of the rest.
WHO AM I?
I am a painter. I have been working many years in communication and journalism. I spent two years in Dallas, Texas in 1999-2001 and four years in Denver, Colorado in 2011-2015. I enjoyed very much getting to know more about American culture, meeting people through numerous activities (my children's school in Dallas, hiking, singing in a choir, giving French lessons, being invited in a group of French-speaking Americans...).
That is the reason why, back in Paris, I decided to welcome people from abroad and give them a glimpse of French culture as they meet French people.

PROGRAM 1: FULL IMMERSION WITH FRENCH CLASSES, VISITS AND MORE
- MORNING: we meet in the morning from 10 to 1pm in my apartment for either French classes or French conversation around coffee or tea.
Classes by a certified teacher from the Alliance Française of Paris.
- LUNCH: We have lunch together with the teacher in the neighborhood; a different typical Parisian restaurant every day.
- AFTERNOON: I suggest three afternoons dedicated to visits accompanied or not by a guide; it could be: a food tour in Le Marais (best croissant with coffee, wine and cheese, market, chocolates...), visiting the Louvre or an unknown little museum, a temporary exhibition, Versailles palace, a beautiful library, a district of Paris; other afternoons are on your own if you wish (shopping?). I can be with you and won't charge more (immersion, remember!).
The program is always adaptable: more art? A week of yoga classes? Want to learn how to make those delicious French desserts?
- DINNER: three dinners in a private apartment with French guests (people in different sectors like art, teaching, journalism, sociology, human resources, communication...). Conversation in French or English.
Wine and cheese; vegetarian or vegan dinner available and always delicious desserts to choose: tiramisu, gâteau au chocolat, crème renversée, charlotte au chocolat, blanc manger, raspberry clafoutis, orange and almond cake, famous tarte Tatin...!
On a 6 persons basis, the price for 5 X 3 hours of classes + 3 lunches in a restaurant (one drink) + 3 dinners in a private apartment (wine included): 590 euros per person.

PROGRAM 2: LET'S BUILD IT TOGETHER!
Choose what you want:
- Meet Parisians around dinner in a private apartment!
- Combine visits and yoga every day. You will meet my friend Agnès, Viniyoga teacher, european diploma from the IFY Viniyoga Foundation; travels to India every year to study traditional Indian texts and songs as well as yoga philosophy.
- Take a food tour in Le Marais with Marianne.
- Spend a night at the opera, a ballet.
- Take a cooking class.
- Discover unusual districts, neighborhood restaurants, unknown little museums etc.
- You have children? Meet my friend Isabelle who is a guide for families. Ask me to find a babysitter (my daughters, their friends) for your children so you can dine out knowing your kids are safe.
