A PASSION FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGES ...

employee of the month

Carlotta is Italian, and as you can imagine, she therefore speaks Italian. But not only, she also speaks English, French and Spanish!

She started learning English when she was in school and immediately fell in love with the language. She made the decision to move to England to improve her English.

Mômji is not Carlotta's first experience with children: she had already worked as a babysitter in Italy on several occasions, and gave English lessons to children in Italy and Greece.

Carlotta had the perfect profile to become a baby speaker at Mômji. Through our foreign home-based language teaching services, Carlotta has had the opportunity to combine her passion for languages and the field of her studies.

A fulfilling experience with Mômji

Today, Carlotta works with three families who are according to her "all very nice," and she enjoys spending time and sharing fun stories with them.

We had the opportunity to ask her some questions about her babysitter experience:

What activities do you do with children?

"The activities that I propose to children generally depend on their mood ... For example, when they are very active, I offer them to play hide and seek, go out for a walk, dance or sing!

However, when they are calmer, tired or nervous, I let their creativity express themselves through drawings or stories that I tell them ...

What I really try to do with each child is to let their needs be expressed in their own way. I think it's very important to be with them, to accompany them and encourage them in what they do and not just to watch them and to teach them English. "

Tips for other baby-speakers?

"Be patient, kids do not usually speak English and even if they understand, sometimes they are too shy to talk. "

Apart from that, Carlotta is passionate about cycling, reading and cooking 😊.
