ATP World Tour Masters

Rafa

One sporting event that may have flown under you radar in Paris this month is the ATP World Tour Masters. Taking place at the Bercy Palais Omnisports, one of Paris’ most impressive event venues, it is the ninth and final ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event of the season.

Tickets are still available and big names such as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are in attendance. It’s already started and runs until November 4th, so be sure to organise yourself quickly!

Armistice Day

A solemn day across the continent, Armistice Day in Paris gives you plenty of opportunities to pay you dues to those lost in wars. An annual military parade along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe takes place, finishing at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

This year marks 100 years since the end of World War I, and the event will be attended by envoys from 80 countries.

Paris Parks

Leaves

Whilst the nippy air might scare away regular park walkers, November is in fact a great time to get yourself out and into one of Paris’ greener areas. As the leaves fall from the trees, there’s nothing more scenic than a stroll around the Buttes-Chaumont or around the Daumensil Lake of the Bois de Vincennes. Wrap up with a scarf and gloves and enjoy a Sunday morning in the crisp city sun.

Paris Independent Film Festival

If you haven’t checked out the magical series of Harry Potter screenings at the Palais Des Congrès yet, then be sure to this month! Your favourite tales of Potter and his friend are being screened to the accompaniment of a full symphony orchestra. In November, it is the turn of the Prisoner of Azkaban on the 24th and 25th of November. Watch the soundtrack come alive and experience the magic like never before.
