How to get a nanny job in France! The process...

Finding your perfect nanny job in France with Mômji is as easy as can be! We’ll talk you through the process to start your journey to become a Mômji bilingual nanny.

1 – Take 2 minutes to fill in this form here

Mômji asks you for your basic details and interests. This will help us get to know you better and we can begin our search for the perfect family to match your availabilities and personality. Once you’ve filled in this form and confirmed your email, you’ll also have access to your own online portal! From here you can browse and apply for the hundreds of families looking for nannies that we have in France.

2 – A member of our HR Team well get in touch with you

After applying, a member of our friendly HR Team will get in touch with you for an informal chat. After a few simple questions, if your profile matches our requirements, an interview will be arranged !

3 – The Interview

Either conducted by Skype or in person at our offices (27 Rue de Citeaux in Paris), you can meet our team and discover even more about Mômji. After a few questions and situation examples, you’ll hear back from us to confirm your application status ASAP!

That’s it! If you’re accepted, you become part of the Mômji community.

To each family, its ideal candidate : as the matching process begins, we will put you in relation with one french family : we offer both of you the opportunity to meet virtually, through a website like Skype.

4 - The beginnig of our adventure together !

At the end of this final interview, both of you can choose to pursue together, or continue your research for the ideal family to work with regarding your preferences ! This process can be very fast : most of our candidates start to work from 7 to 14 days after completing our form !

Who are we looking for?

Here at Mômji, we employ people from all over the world, many different languages and backgrounds! We are a huge international and multicultural community, composed by 3 000 current employees, 190 different nationalities, and 12 languages spoken.

You can also choose to work as a temporary nanny, or work long term with us, but there are a few requirements we ask for…

Be at least 18,
For childcare jobs: previous experience with children required (formal or informal),
No diploma required
No minimum level of French required
Be a EU citizen or hold a visa to work in France,
Minimum stay: 3 months.

What’s the job?

So, what isthe role of a Mômji bilingual nanny? Your nanny position focus on the acquisition of language through daily activities and games. You’ll be working with a child from a french family : your role is to introduce them to the new language in fun and creative ways.

In addition to a casual nanny role : sharing snacktime, preparing meals, helping them during bathtime if necessary, we count on you to make the most of this time together, by sharing moments of life.

You can go to the park discover about nature, practice you favorite sports together, sharing about your passions and your culture ...

You can choose to work with us as a Mômji Bilingual nanny in initiation if you speak a liitle French : this childcare will be mostly in French, with a special time dedicated to the chosen language.

If you don't speak Franch at all, no worries ! We offer you to join us as a Mômji Bilingual nanny in immersion, with a childcare 100% in the chosen language !

Mômji will be with you every step of the way, sending you every two weeks activities and tools from our unique pedagogy, including pedagogical ideas, playful, creative and scientific activities to share together !

All along our journey together, we will stay in touch, helping you with any queries you may have.

Our nannies work from 5 to 40 hours a week and their salary is between 11.5 – 13€ per hour.
